Commissioned 3-minute short film for Jon Stewart's Night of Too Many Stars autism benefit, broadcast live on HBO. This was the story about older Autistic individuals and end-of-life concerns of their caregiver parents. Kahane Cooperman and Raphaela Niehausen, Executive Producers for Lucky Two Productions.

This award-winning documentary short film is a portrait of an extraordinary woman living on the autism spectrum. Sondra Williams was misdiagnosed and institutionalized for many of her early years. Now married and a mother of 4 children also on the spectrum, she is a national advocate for the rights of others on the spectrum.  Directed by Alexandra Shiva.

Two short films commissioned by the Salem Film Fest documentary film festival. The festival invited filmmakers to capture some of the local flavor of the historic town that's a lot more than witches! These films have been used every since as trailers before festival film screenings. ​​

NANGCHEN SHORTS

​A triptych of short films about life in remote, rural Tibet. They were filmed in and around Kala Rongo, a Buddhist Monastery exclusively for women in Kham, Tibet. Each film, together and separate, has played at film festivals around the world. ​

 

In Water a Tibetan woman collects water near her family's yak farm, in a ritual that takes her an hour to complete. In 2019 it became part of the Italian educational curriculum raising awareness of the 17 goals of the United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development. ​Ritual Objects explores three traditional Buddhist rituals via the implements that are used in them: prayer wheel, procession and torma.​  In Tsampa, a young nun quietly preparing tsampa in a traditional yak tent, and are treated to a brief lesson in how to make eating a mindful act. ​​​​
